[Field Story] Lebanon, the heavenly people who will heal the peoples of the nations

Hello, my name is Khalida and I live in Lebanon.

I'm originally Syrian, but I left my country in a tumultuous state due to the civil war and came to Lebanon a few months ago.

When I think about my life and future, a deep sense of depression hit me. In Lebanon, where the situation is as difficult as Syria, even if we work hard every day, we can barely eat.

Then one day, a colleague from work introduced me to a Christian worship meeting.

I heard about Jesus there. It was said that the love of Jesus had the ability to save my life, but as I was hearing it for the first time, I couldn't understand at all.

After that, I made an extreme choice myself due to repeated anxiety and depression. My life was saved, but my bones were crushed and had to get operation almost everywhere, including my spine and shoulders.

I faced a more difficult situation, not being able to die. So I was rather desperate to be live. But then, I remembered what I had heard about Jesus before.

I remembered that if I believed in Jesus, He would not only save my life but also give me eternal hope, and now, finally, I thought of putting my life's hope in Jesus.

When I came out of the hospital, the first thing I wanted to do is go to a worship service. Please pray for me that I will know who Jesus is and how much He loves me so my life can be changed by Jesus!

9 And the patriarchs, jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt; but God was with him

10 and rescued him out of all his afflictions and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household. (Acts 7:9-10)

God, thank you for delivering and guiding Khalida, who were on their way to death in the shadow of death without hope, to the path of life!

From Syria until now, they have been in the midst of many tribulations, but we confess that all of this was God's guidance.

Please pour out the Holy Spirit to Sister Khalida, who confesses that she will now walk with Jesus as her hope of life. May she can realize the immeasurable love of the cross of the Lord.

We declare that now is God's time! May Sister Khalida realize that Jesus is the one who saved her from all tribulation and rise up as a witness to the love of Jesus Christ who gave her life.

We ask that you anoint Sister Khalida as the ruler of a nation like Joseph. May the gospel of the Lord be preached to all refugees in Lebanon who are poor in spirit through Sister Khalida.

In this way, let the people of Lebanon discover the true hope through Jesus Christ and rise up as the people of heaven who heals the nations that God has given as an inheritance.
