An incident occurred in eastern Uganda where Muslim extremists murdered a ‘Christian who preached to Muslims’ with a weapon.
According to the American Christian Post (CP), on August 19 (local time), Yowabu Sebakaki (52) was attacked by Muslims while riding his bicycle home in Nyanza village, Mugiti Sub-County, Budaka District, Uganda was brutally murdered by Muslims.
They sent threatening messages to Sevacaki in June and July, including: “I know you have a secret meeting. You must stop preaching and converting our faithful Muslims to Christianity. “Otherwise, we will soon come after your life.”

Sebakaki’s wife said, “Neighbors arrived at the scene and rushed my husband to the hospital in Mbale, but he eventually died on the way.”
Budaka police are investigating the perpetrator.
An anonymous local pastor said, “Sevacaki was trained in apologetics and participated in spreading the gospel in the predominantly Muslim areas of Doho, Namatala, Kamonkoli, Sekulo and Mugiti. In January, Sebakaki was attacked by Muslim extremists after giving a persuasive lecture in a debate with Islamic scholars while in Kamonkoli, he said. Rescued by Christians. “After that, he avoided discussions with Muslim scholars and instead began giving open-air sermons and discipleship classes.”

“But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory… But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:7, 9-10)
Amen, we praise the wisdom of God who ordained our Savior Jesus Christ for us before the ages began.
Lord, we hear that a brother in Uganda has lost his life due to an attack by Muslim extremists.
May the Lord give comfort and true peace of God's kingdom to those left behind.
We ask that you also pour out hope and God’s heart for all nations.
There are many people in Uganda whose eyes are still closed and who have to live as people who do not know the Lord.
We pray that God will see the desolation of the Ugandan people and quickly spread the Gospel and cover Uganda again with the mercy of the cross.
Lord, we believe that the life of a brother was sown on this earth and rotted like a grain of wheat.
May the glory of the Lord be revealed to Uganda through his life.
Let this nation become people whose eyes and ears are opened and whose hearts think of the right things.
Let everyone experience the Holy Spirit and make the Ugandan people become a nation that proclaims the Lord to all the people.
Let them rise up as a people of Uganda who love the Lord most passionately.
Let them rise up as a nation that exalts the name of Jehovah, who is worthy of glory and praise, beyond Africa and all nations.
