They emphasize the necessity of imposing restrictions to prevent AI from engaging in activities such as self-replication without human approval, designing weapons of mass destruction (WMD), or executing devastating cyber attacks. To achieve this, he also called for a level of global cooperation similar to the efforts made during the Cold War to prevent nuclear war.
