[Today's Prayer] "Iran Reviewing Proposed End-of-War MOU Before Final Decision"

Iran is currently reviewing a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States before making a final decision, according to Iran's Fars News Agency on June 14 (local time).

A source close to the peace negotiation team told Fars News, "Iran has not yet announced its final decision regarding the proposed MOU," adding that "political, legal, and technical reviews of the memorandum's wording are still ongoing."

According to sources familiar with the matter, experts and decision-makers continue to discuss various aspects of the proposal. Relevant ministries and agencies are carefully evaluating the political, legal, and technical implications of the agreement.

Meanwhile, Reuters and local media reported that a negotiating delegation from Qatar, one of the mediating countries, arrived in Tehran on the same day to help finalize the negotiations.

Leaders from the United States and Pakistan, another mediator, expect that a "framework agreement" to end more than three months of conflict between the two countries could be officially signed within the day.

Lord, may Iran's leaders consider the suffering of the Iranian people who have lived through more than three months of war. We pray that those who have governed Iran while resisting Your word would be humbled through hardship and led to seek Your will. Grant them wisdom to review the proposed agreement carefully and reach a decision that leads to peace.

May the people of Iran turn away from every false source of hope that cannot save and encounter Jesus Christ, who delivers people from suffering when they cry out in distress. You alone can bring Iran out of darkness and the shadow of death into the light. May every chain that has bound the nation be broken, and may Your kingdom come among the people of Iran.

Strengthen the church in Iran to continue crying out to the Lord on behalf of the nation. Give believers faith to persevere in sharing the Gospel and serving others with love, so that many Iranians may come to know Jesus, who saves people from their suffering.

As negotiations between Iran and the United States approach a possible conclusion, may the global Church continue to pray for peace among the nations and for the people of Iran. May believers pray faithfully for peace and reconciliation, and may more workers be sent to bear witness to Jesus Christ, the Light of the World.

May the people of Iran, having been brought out of darkness and the shadow of death, rise up as witnesses of Jesus Christ and be filled with joy as they proclaim His salvation to all nations. Amen.
