According to local media such as Detik News on February 2nd, the Indonesian rescue authorities announced that as of now, 74 people have died and 6 are still missing in the landslide that occurred in Pasirlangu Village, West Java Province on October 24th.

Among the victims, 57 have been identified. The identified bodies include 23 members of the Indonesian Navy, who were training for a long-term mission in the border area with Papua New Guinea at the time of the heavy rainfall.

The Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency has extended the search period for the missing persons to next Monday. Thousands of soldiers, police officers, and volunteers are still searching for the missing in the debris of the accident site.
