[Today’s Prayer] “Support without a ceasefire is useless”… International organizations condemn UN's 'Gaza Resolution'
International aid groups unanimously condemned the resolution adopted by the UN Security Council to expand humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip in Palestine, saying that a promise of support without a call for a ceasefire is meaningless.
They warned that even if relief supplies increase, they will not be able to distribute them as free passage is impossible due to frequent air raids and attacks by ground forces from the Israeli military, leading to the deaths of relief workers.
According to the New York Times (NYT) and Washington Post (WP) on the 23rd (local time), Doctors Without Borders issued a statement saying, “The Security Council resolution falls far short of the immediate and lasting ceasefire necessary to resolve the crisis in the Gaza Strip.” “It has weakened to the point where it has almost no impact on the lives of civilians in Gaza,” he said.

Before the war, approximately 500 truckloads of relief supplies entered the Gaza Strip per day, and UNRWA said that at least 200 trucks per day would need to be supplied to support the population needs of the Gaza Strip.
However, for the first two weeks after the start of the war, Israel blocked all material supplies and then allowed only a very limited amount, including a few trucks per day, to be brought in.
Last week, under pressure from the international community, relief truck entry through the Kerem Shalom corridor, an Israeli town bordering the southern Gaza Strip, was approved for the first time.
Accordingly, as reported by the United Nations, about 135 trucks of relief supplies entered the Gaza Strip on average every day last week, but relief organizations pointed out that even with this increased volume, distributing the supplies is yet another problem.

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. (John 15:13-14)
Emmanuel Jesus, we thank you for coming to this earth and becoming the gospel for the whole world and all nations.
We proclaim to all nations that only Jesus, the Son of God, is the salvation and hope of this land.
The whole world should be filled with joy through Jesus, but Gaza is still in sorrow and poverty.
Lord, please have mercy on the two nations that are suffering from endless war and conflict, and please be attentive to the Gaza Strip.
As we see the death of relief organizations one after another due to lack of relief supplies, we need more help and aid from more people.
We desire for the global church to be a good friend to this land that is crying out for help.
May we be the global church that will listens to the needs of our friends and love this land, imitating the sacrifice of Jesus, even if it means risking our lives.
Let the work of the Holy Spirit not only help them meet their needs while living on this earth, but above all, guide their spirits to salvation.
Lord, at this time when the hearts of the people are poor, may the door of salvation be wide open, and may the gospel be quickly testified through that open door.
Now, rather than being filled with food that is shaken and comes to an end, may they be filled with Jesus, never being thirsty nor hungry, and may they become a nation that lives with the hope of heaven.
May they rejoice in Jesus on this earth and may they be filled with sounds of praise as they look forward to the day when He will return in glory.
