[Today’s Prayer] Relief truck disaster testimony...“Even the food of the person who was shot is taken away to survive.”

Tragic testimonies about the disaster of a relief truck in the Gaza Strip of Palestine were shared one after another.

On the 29th of last month (local time), a tragedy occurred in Gaza City, northern Gaza Strip, where more than 100 Palestinians who crowded into a truck carrying relief supplies were killed by gunfire and hundreds more were injured.

Witnesses say that the Palestinians who flocked to the relief truck at the time, were so desperate that they even took food from those who had been injured by Israeli military fire.

According to the New York Times (NYT) on the 1st (local time), Yehia Al-Masri, a doctor at Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical institution in the Gaza Strip, could not hide his shock at the terrible sight that day.

While he was with his family, he heard shelling and gunfire nearby, around 4 a.m., when the shooting subsided, he came out to an intersection near the coast and found dozens of dead or injured people lying on the street from gunshot wounds and sacks of flour covered in blood.

The dead and injured were shot in various parts, including the head, neck, and groin. Al Masri said some of the dead appeared to have been crushed to death while others appeared to have been hit by aid trucks.

Some of those at the scene at the time rushed to the relief truck, leaving behind injured family members and friends, while others tried to get the flour after putting the injured in cars or carts, he added.

“Souls are being exchanged for sacks of flour,” Al-Masri said. “We have reached famine and the situation is indescribable.”

Palestinian and Israeli claiming different things regarding the cause of the large-scale disaster.

The Palestinian side claimed that the Israeli military's indiscrimination firing was the cause, but the Israeli government. However, they acknowledged that warning shots were fired but refuted that most of the victims were crushed to death or killed by being run over by a truck.

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. (Exocus14:13)

We praise the name of the Lord, who is our refuge in times of trouble.

We hear the heartbreaking news again today again, that there are casualties due to Israeli-Palestinian war.

Among the souls who are in poverty and hunger, please pour out your grace, LORD

Look at those who risked their lives to find food. Please have mercy on those who are in urgency as they are forced to take food from the arms of the dead.

Lord, full of love and mercy, we ask that you help those who are afraid in the midst of death, horror, poverty and cold, so that they can eat and sleep. And in the midst of hardship, allow them to rely on the Lord, who helps in times of trouble.

As they kneel before Lord Jesus Christ, who allows salvation, comfort all those who are tired and are weary in spirits. Allow them to come before Jesus, who is the Lord of refuge and breaks the power of satan.

Through Lord's grace, the war will end soon, and we look forward when the peace of the Lord is upon them. Let the false father, who deceives and seduces, leave the people, and only the Lord will reigns as the eternal king of all nations.

Under the rule of the good Lord, all the nations will praise him, and the people will sing the song of Lord’s salvation!
