[Today’s Prayer] Missiles roar throughout the Middle East, including Syria and Iraq...Escalating war crisis

As Israel, the United States, and pro-Iranian armed groups engage in armed battles throughout the Middle East, including Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, the risk of the war in Gaza spreading throughout the Middle East continues to grow.

According to Reuters on the 20th (local time), the Israeli military fired a missile at a building in Damascus, the capital of Syria, killing at least five people, including a senior intelligence official of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

It is reported that a meeting of Iran-related leaders, including the Revolutionary Guard's intelligence chief in Syria, was being held in the building at the time of the bombing.

Iran accused Israel of being behind the airstrike and warned of retaliation

According to Lebanon's state-run NAA news agency, at least two people were killed in an Israeli drone strike in Lebanon's Mawahin region on this day.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) did not comment on the attack, but said in a statement that Israeli warplanes attacked Hezbollah's combat facilities in the Al-Adissa region in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah also announced that it carried out three attacks against Israeli military bases that day.

In Iraq, several people were injured in an attack by pro-Iran forces targeting a U.S. military base.

The U.S. Central Command announced that Iranian-backed militants fired several ballistic missiles and rockets targeting U.S. and coalition forces at Ain al-Asad Air Base in western Iraq this afternoon.

“We need a humanitarian ceasefire now,” Rana Nusseibeh, the UAE’s ambassador to the United Nations, said in a video interview with Bloomberg News. “The war in Gaza is an open wound and is destabilizing the Middle East.”

Ambassador Nusseibeh went on to urge the United States to pressure Israel for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, saying that the United States could play a key role in easing tensions in the region.

“…have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” (Matthew 22:31-32)

Our God is a living God who has existed since the beginning, and is still working today.

We hear that the war that started in Gaza, now continues to attack the Arab world, including Syria, Lebanon, and Iran, and the spark of war spreads in all directions.

Lord, please be merciful to those who live in fear and tension as all are counteracting without any concession.

Lord, we believe this is the best time for them to be saved, and the word of prophecy to be fulfilled.

Let the Shalom of Yeshua cover all the land.

Please cut off death that was born in retaliation, which covers this land, and let the gospel of life, Yeshua, move faster than death.

Let the global church know this, pray with the Lord, and serve with love.

May the blessings of all nations that began with Abraham, be poured on the descendants of Ishmael, who are suffering now.

We hope that the day will come soon when they raise their voice to greet Yeshua happily again.
