Due to continuous Israeli shelling and interruption of medicine and power supply every day, medical disasters such as premature babies dying at the Gaza Strip's largest hospital have become a reality.
Although the international community has called for humanitarian aid to be granted and to cease fire, Israel is not giving up its will to attack, so there are concerns that civilian casualties will continue to increase.
According to Reuters and the US daily Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on the 12th (local time), Al-Shifa Hospital and Al-Quds Hospital, the first and second largest hospitals in the Gaza Strip, announced that they will cease operations from this day.
Al-Shifa Hospital suspended operations on this day after running out of fuel the previous day and five people, including two premature babies in incubators, died.
“Al-Quds Hospital has been cut off from the world for the past six to seven days. We havent been able to go in or go out,” said Tommaso Della Longa, spokesman for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
At Al-Shifa Hospital, about 40 premature babies are using regular beds instead of incubators with minimal electricity for heating. A doctor there said, "We will lose more babies as the days go by."
The day before, at Al-Shifa Hospital, a facility management employee was shot inside the building, and another employee that was by the window was also shot, WSJ reported.
“There must be a guarantee that the 600 hospitalized patients can be safely evacuated,” said Mohammed Obeid, a doctor with Doctors Without Borders who works at the hospital here.
Palestinian officials announced today that they had suspended negotiations with Israel for the release of hostages due to the situation at Al-Shifa Hospital.
Three UN agencies said that in the past 36 days since the outbreak of war, medical facilities in the Gaza Strip have been attacked at least 137 times, resulting in a total of 521 deaths and 686 injuries, including 16 deaths and 38 injuries of medical staffs,.

The United States, the European Union (EU), and Arab countries have called on Israel to stop humanitarian fighting, allow aid to the Gaza Strip, and improve the situation in medical facilities.
Israel explained that it was doing its best to prevent damage to medical facilities, while claiming that the Palestinian armed political group Hamas was using civilians as shields.

Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
(Hebrews 9:15)
Jesus, our intercessor, the ongoing war has led to a shortage of medicine and fuel, forcing hospitals in the Gaza Strip to stop operating.
Premature babies who need to be kept in incubators are unable to be protected, and patients who need various medical devices have no place to receive proper treatment and shelter. We see that it is not a problem of armed zones and soldiers, but of demilitarized zones and civilians, whose lives are collapsing as the damage of war is everywhere.
Lord, have mercy on the souls who are groaning in the shadow of death, and visit them and shine life and light upon them so that peace and joy can be restored. Would you console the heart of a mother who lost her child, comfort those who have lost family members and friends, and let them know that there is hope in heaven.
We believe that the only one who can quickly stop all this war and suffering is Jesus, who has already paid the price for sin. Jesus Christ has forgiven all the sins of Israel and Palestine. Therefore, may they turn from the decietful lies and that lead to evil deeds that stir up war, and look to the Lord who promised us the eternal kingdom of God.
Father God, as you are searching for your children, we pray that you would send your people who will respond to you with Amen and that through these people, may many more people experience the power of the gospel and may the kingdom of God further expand. Let the poor, the thirsty, and the hungry come before the Lord and drink the water of life.
Therefore, may they become two nations that live together in the Father's kingdom forever and fulfill God's will and covenant!
