[Field Story] Kazakhstan, a nation that will be filled with the hope of a new heaven and new earth

Hello, my name is Raula and I live in Kazakhstan.

I have three children. However, the children all have different fathers, and the husband they live with is not the children’s father, but a different husband, and even this husband abandoned the family.

It was difficult to raise children in poor circumstances, but despite this, I did not shy away from hard work and worked hard to raise my children. Then, my health deteriorated and frequent pains came to me.

My mother passed away when I was born, and my stepmother, who raised me in her place, also passed away, causing great pain in my heart.

In this time, I was invited by a church and they prayed for me, and as a sense of vibration started within me i felt all the pain and evil things inside me leave.

Up until then, there was always a big stone that was weighing heavy in my heart, but I was overyjoyed as I felt like the stone was broken and I was now so light that I felt like I could fly away.

On the morning of Easter, as we worshiped together, we learned that just as Jesus died for us on the cross and was resurrected, we must also die and live with him.

After that, I felt like I wanted to live anew again and asked for prayers to help me move closer to God.

I am hoping to be baptized this summer!

Please gather your hands and pray for me that I can now confess that only Jesus is my savior, and that I may be protected from the schemes of Satan, and throw away all the pain and wounds of my previous unhappy life so that I can now live a new life with the Lord.

Through my renewal, I desire for my children to also change along with me. Please pray that my children may grow up in the perfect Word of God, so that only the Lord may reign as King in our family, and that we can live for the kingdom of the Lord.

Waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3: 12-13)

Lord, we thank you that just as you visited the Samaritan woman, you visited Sister Raula, cleansed her of all her pain, and enabled her to stand before the grace of the cross that breaks the yoke of sin.

When Sister Raula is baptized this summer, just as she confessed, may she crucify all her sins and wounds and now live a life not for herself, but only for Jesus Christ.

May this sister and her children be those who only confess the Lord as King, and become a family that overcomes all the spiritual battles they will face while living in this world through the power of the Word and the help of the Holy Spirit.

Also, as Sister Raula rises up as the spiritual mother of Kazakhstan and serves the people, may the work of salvation spread throughout Kazakhstan as the living water of Jesus that cannot be quenched flows to the thirsty souls.

Therefore, may the Kazakh people become a holy bride who welcomes Jesus Christ, who will return on that day along with the new heaven and new earth!
