The number of Palestinian deaths due to Israeli military attacks on the Gaza Strip exceeded 39,000, and the number of injured exceeded 89,800, the Gaza Strip's Ministry of Health announced on the 22nd.

Israel began attacking the Gaza Strip after Hamas launched a surprise attack on southern Israel on October 7 last year, killing about 1,200 people and kidnapping 250.

The health ministry said the new tally comes as dozens more people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the southern Gaza Strip and elsewhere. The Health Ministry's tally is conducted without distinguishing between armed forces and civilians.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to visit Washington on this day and deliver a speech to the U.S. Congress.

So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him. (Acts 10:34-35).

We hear the sad news that the death toll in Gaza from the war between Hamas and Israel, which began last year, has exceeded 39,000 and the number of injured has exceeded 89,800.

The numbers do not distinguish between militants and civilians, and it cannot even begin to capture how sad it is in God's eyes that all of these people, regardless of their faults, have lost lives that God has handcrafted and have been severely wounded, making it difficult for them to resume their former lives.

In the midst of all this, there is an even greater need for those who have compassion in their hearts for Palestine, who do not know the grace of Jesus Christ and are still waiting for salvation from vain Islam, to serve them with prayer and the gospel.

Lord, how long shall there be a lamentation in Palestine?

Remember those who fear God and do righteousness in the midst of suffering, and send forth from the midst of the world church those who, like Cornelius, look forward to salvation with a heart like Peter's.

Let Palestine be filled with Holy Spirit, and through those who come in obedience to Your Word, leaving all their preconceived notions and backgrounds behind.

We believe the local churches in Palestine are still praying and serving first.

May they forgive Israel and see the work of the Holy Spirit in the fellowship of the saints as the Palestinian and Israeli churches are first united in Christ.

Like the good Samaritan, let us put the kingdom of God above the needs of each people, and let us be true neighbors to one another, so that the kingdom of God may come, where the word of loving God and loving our neighbor will be fulfilled.

And let all the seeds of hatred and the tares of resentment in Palestine be uprooted in Your Word, in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and in the love of Jesus Christ, and let it become a land of revival that will see thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold fruitfulness with Israel!
