According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), approximately 25,000 people have been affected by floods in northern Kachin State, western Rakhine State, eastern Kayah State, and southern Shan State in the northeast. The European Union (EU) Commission's Directorate General for Humanitarian Assistance and Civil Protection (DG ECHO) reported this in a breaking news report on the 10th in the 'ECHO Daily Flash'.
The region with the most serious damage is Kachin State, where approximately 17,500 people have been affected and at least 5 people have died so far. Approximately 11,000 people have also been affected in Rakhine State.

The local partners of the Directorate General for Humanitarian Assistance and Civil Protection are providing emergency food and nutrition support, and local residents are also voluntarily providing support activities such as providing warm meals and drinking water to the displaced people.
Meanwhile, the exact extent of the damage to agricultural land is currently being investigated. The recent storm in Bangladesh has also caused flooding in Myanmar's northern Sagaing region and central Magway region, and it has been reported that rice and soybean cultivation areas have also been damaged.

Arm of the Lord, awake, awake, show your strength. Awake as in the days of old. Was it not You who crushed Rahab and pierced the dragon? Was it not You who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made a way in the depths of the sea for the redeemed to cross? The redeemed of the Lord shall return and come with singing to Zion; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and sighing shall flee away. (Isaiah 51:9-11)
God, we hear the sad news that 25,000 people have been affected by the floods in Myanmar, including Kachin and Rakhine, and have lost their families, homes, and places to live.
May the Lord have mercy on the souls of Myanmar who are having difficulties in their lives due to the flood damage while the earthquake damage in Myanmar has not yet been recovered.
Please grant the power of the arm of Jehovah at this time among the souls of Myanmar who are still suffering from the flood and save them.
Please prevent any more casualties and dry up the wide and deep waters that have covered Myanmar with the wind of the Holy Spirit.
For this work, may the Myanmar church and the global church wake up and serve together in prayer and spread the gospel and provide Myanmar with the necessary meals and drinking water.
In this way, may all the people of Myanmar unite in the gospel and send out 50,000 missionaries, and may they rise up as the last golden key people who will turn all nations to the Lord!
