[Field News] Israeli military ‘turns its attention’ to Hezbollah, “Prepared to switch from ‘defense to attack’ at the border with Lebanon”

Concerns are growing that an all-out war will break out between Israel and Hezbollah, a pro-Iran armed faction in Lebanon.

CNN and Reuters reported on the 7th (local time) that the Israeli military is preparing to change its military operation against Hezbollah in the border area with northern Lebanon from 'defense' to 'offensive'.

He also explained, “Regular and reserve commanders are ready to assemble and equip all necessary soldiers within a few hours and then move them to the front lines for defensive and offensive missions.”

The Israeli military previously said in a separate statement that it had attacked Hezbollah military bases and command centers in southern Lebanon.

This attack was reported to be a response to multiple rockets being fired at an Israeli military base stationed in the Golan Heights and the border town of Manara.

Israel is counterattacking by mobilizing rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), but it has not yet escalated to a full-scale war.

Israel calculated that approximately 60,000 people fled due to Hezbollah attacks in the northern border area and that 18 people, including civilians and soldiers, were killed on its side.

So far, Israel's shelling has killed about 270 Hezbollah members and 50 civilians, and caused about 90,000 refugees in southern Lebanon, Reuters reported, citing security sources.
