[Today's Prayer] US rejects Arab countries' independent plan for Gaza reconstruction... Trump sticks to original plan

CNN and other sources reported that the US Donald Trump administration rejected the Arab reconstruction plan for Gaza approved by Arab country leaders on the 5th.

In a press release, White House National Security Council (NSC) spokesman Brian Hughes pointed out that "this Arab plan does not reflect the reality that Gaza is currently uninhabitable and that its residents cannot live humanely in a place covered in rubble and unexploded shells."

He added that "President Trump is committed to his vision of rebuilding Gaza without Hamas. We look forward to deeper dialogue to bring peace and prosperity to the region."

The spokesperson said that President Trump's vision is 'Gaza without Hamas,' but the 'Gaza reconstruction plan' that Trump announced on February 4th at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House was completely outrageous and beyond imagination.

The idea was to forcefully and permanently relocate all 2 million Palestinian Gaza residents to Jordan or Egypt, and then have the US "take over" Gaza and transform it into a "Riviera" resort city on the Mediterranean coast of the Middle East.

Not only did Arab countries in the Middle East and North Africa, including Jordan and Egypt, strongly oppose it, but the West also refused to take an inch of Trump's support, saying, "Gaza is Palestinian land."

Israel criticized the fact that the newly elected Palestinian Authority would lead this reconstruction and would only neutralize Hamas, which had ruled Gaza, instead of completely eliminating it.

The White House expressed its intention to reject the idea by sticking to Trump's vision and bringing up the Hamas issue.

When Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and when he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. Then Moses' hands grew tired, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up Moses' hands, one on one side and the other on the other. But his hands did not come down until the sun went down. Joshua struck Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword and destroyed them. (Exodus 17:11-13)

Amen. God, we hear that there is a conflict of opinion between Arab countries and US President Trump over the reconstruction of Gaza.

They have different opinions about the Gaza Strip and each insists on their own, but we hope that only the Lord will intervene and work in this matter. May only God's will be done in Gaza Strip.

Comfort the souls of the Gaza Strip who are still suffering from the pain and wounds of war, and may the power of God’s word and the Lord’s holy rule cover Gaza Strip.

We pray that Gaza Strip will be rebuilt as God’s holy land again. May there be no more pain and suffering, and may it be rebuilt as a land filled with God’s peace and grace. May it become a land where the Lord rules.

May Arab churches that live only by the gospel of Jesus and testify to the name of Jesus rise up and serve and pray for the Palestinian people. May the history of healing and restoration through the gospel come to the Palestinian people through the Arab churches.

We also pray that the global church will intercede and pray together for this. Let people like Aaron and Hur, who were with Moses, rise up in the global church. Let the global church in the last days unite and overcome the last spiritual war.

May the news of Palestine’s restoration be spread among all nations, and may the restoration of Jesus come to the nations! Let the Palestinian people rise as the last disciples among all nations, so that the holy brides of the Lord who will hasten the second coming of Jesus Christ to this earth arise!
