The autonomous government and Hamas, the political forces that divide Palestine, are waging a war of nerves over control of the post-war Gaza Strip. The suffering of Gaza residents who have lost their homes due to the prolonged war between Israel and Hamas is growing day by day, but criticism is coming that both the autonomous government and Hamas are only focused on protecting their vested interests.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) said on the 8th (local time), “The autonomous government and Hamas are showing deep-rooted hostility,” and “It is unclear what form the government will take to rule the Gaza Strip after the war and how long that rule will last.” “Questions are being raised about it,” the report said.

In fact, the autonomous government and Hamas have clashed at every turn since the war broke out on October 7 last year. First, on the 30th of last month, Hamas arrested six autonomous government intelligence officials who entered the Gaza Strip along with members of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society. Hamas threatened through its own propaganda media that “autonomous government agents are plotting to sow chaos and division in the Gaza Strip,” and that “more people linked to the autonomous government will be arrested in the future.”

In response, an autonomous government official told WSJ, “Two of our officials were recently murdered in the Gaza Strip, and it is not clear whether Israel or Hamas killed them. Hamas is attacking the autonomous government, accusing it of being a foreign force.” He then refuted, “It is true that there are autonomous government agents in the Gaza Strip, but they are unarmed personnel who help distribute relief goods.”

Lord, who saves those who take refuge in You, please protect the residents of Gaza who are suffering due to the ongoing war like the apple of your eye and hide them under the shadow of Your wings.

So many people are losing their lives, but please let the war that is leading to mutual distrust and division, focusing only on their own interests rather than life, end as soon as possible.

Only the Lord is the ruler of Palestine and can resolve all divisions and problems. Only the Lord is King.
