It has been alleged that Iranian authorities have denied injured protesters medical treatment during the crackdown on anti-government demonstrations.
According to the Norway-based group Iran Human Rights (IHR), on the 20th (local time), about 1,000 protesters in the southwestern Iranian city of Shiraz were arrested and imprisoned in detention facilities such as Adel Abad Prison during the height of the protests on the 7th.
In this regard, a source said, "Many of the prisoners were injured by pellet guns," and added, "There were also 16-18-year-old teenagers, some of whom were in a shocking condition."
The source said, "Doctors were instructed not to treat the injured prisoners, as they wanted them to bleed to death," and added, "Doctor Zafar Zadeh, who insisted on treating the injured, was arrested."

IHR reported that at least 3,428 protesters were killed by security forces, and said that the actual number of deaths is likely to be much higher.
It also said that external media reported an estimated death toll of up to 20,000, and added, "We will refrain from announcing daily statistics until we secure sufficient data."

And he said, "The God of our fathers has chosen you to know his will, and to see the righteousness of his Son, and to hear the voice of his mouth." Now therefore why tarry ye? arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. (Acts 22:14-16)
Lord, we hear that Iranian authorities have denied injured protesters medical treatment during the crackdown on anti-government demonstrations, and that the number of deaths in prisons is increasing due to orders not to treat the injured.
We pray that the Lord, who chose the Iranian people and made them righteous and good, will open their eyes to the righteousness of his Son and let them hear his voice.
We pray that the voices of those who have become witnesses to the salvation of Iran by proclaiming the name of the Lord will be heard, and that the blind and deaf eyes and ears of Iran will be opened to look upon the Savior of this land.
May the Iranian people, who have become witnesses of Christ, rise up in the midst of Iran and proclaim the name of the Lord, and through this, may the blind and deaf eyes and ears of Iran be opened to look upon the Savior of this land.
May the Iranian people no longer submit to death and sin, but cry out the name of the Lord and live the life of Jesus Christ as witnesses among all nations.
