[Today’s Prayer] Pakistan acquires new Chinese attack helicopters, deepening military ties to contain India.

Pakistan, which is deepening its military ties with China amid its conflict with India, has introduced attack helicopters following Chinese fighter jets, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP) and China's Global Times reported on the 3rd.

According to a report by Pakistani media outlet The News, Pakistan's Army Chief of Staff, General Asim Munir, presided over a ceremony to induct the latest Z-10ME helicopter at a military base in the country the previous day. This is the export version of China's multi-role attack helicopter, the Z-10.

The SCMP added that if the weaponry is upgraded, it can be equipped with six weapon bays, each carrying a CM-502KG precision strike missile with a range of 25 km and a 23mm machine gun system, which would improve its performance compared to the US-made AH-1F helicopter operated by the Pakistani military.

China and Pakistan have established a relationship of "all-weather strategic cooperative partnership," the highest level of bilateral relations, through their "common enemy" of India, and are continuing close political, economic, and military cooperation.

Pakistan claimed in May that it shot down a French-made Rafale fighter jet operated by the Indian military with a Chinese-made J-10C fighter jet during an armed conflict with India that bordered on all-out war. This claim was later confirmed to be true to some extent, leading to assessments that it changed the international assessment of Chinese weapons.

God, amid the conflict with India, we hear that Pakistan has strengthened its military cooperation with China, introducing Chinese fighter jets and attack helicopters.

As China and Pakistan have formed a strategic alliance with India as their common enemy, we ask that You have mercy on the Pakistani people, who have no place to turn amid their unending hatred and conflict toward India.

Please transform the hearts of those who are divided over territorial disputes with India, and instead, may the Pakistani people focus their hearts on obtaining the kingdom of God by extending forgiveness and love toward India through the love of the cross. Please send more missionaries from the global church to preach the gospel to Pakistan.

As we pray, we believe that God has promised to give us foreign lands as our inheritance. We pray that when the Pakistani church prays and seeks God through His Word, He will answer our prayers and raise up leaders who will govern the Pakistani people with the wisdom and teachings of God's kingdom.

May disciples arise in Pakistan who will go to the ends of the earth to inherit the land, so that the nation may become a people who proclaim the joy of serving the Lord. Thus, may the name of Jesus be praised through Pakistan, in India, and among all nations!
