As a result, tensions throughout the Middle East continue to deepen.

Lord, in the midst of the immense pressure surrounding Israel, Iran, and the entire Middle East, have mercy on the souls who are suffering unspeakable pain and anguish. Hear their cries and deliver them from the snares of death.

Even if the airstrikes have paused, Israel and Iran continue to watch one another with suspicion and maintain military readiness. May their leaders come to know Jesus Christ, the true Prince of Peace, and may the unending cycles of war and military tension be resolved through the forgiveness and reconciliation made possible by Christ’s cross.

As the appointed time draws near and the day of Your return approaches, stir the global Church, together with the churches in Israel, Iran, and throughout the Middle East, to pray with broken and repentant hearts.
