[Today’s Prayer] Israel urges all residents to evacuate, "Gaza City has become a dangerous combat zone"

On the 10th, the Israeli military warned Palestinians living in Gaza City that Gaza City is a dangerous combat zone as military attacks on Gaza City are intensifying. They distributed leaflets urging all residents to evacuate immediately.

The leaflet said, "Israeli forces will provide a safe corridor for residents to evacuate to Deir al-Bala and al-Zawaida areas," and urged "all residents to evacuate to safe areas."

Israeli warplanes attacked three houses in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip again early in the morning, hours after an airstrike on a school in Khan Yunis killed 31 people and wounded about 50, killing six children and three women. 20 Palestinians were killed. Some of the dead were specifically within a "safe zone" declared by the Israeli military, hospital authorities said.

The Israeli military said it was investigating the airstrikes near the school and reports of civilian casualties, but insisted the strikes were aimed at Hamas militants. However, no evidence was provided to support this.

The Gaza Strip's Ministry of Health announced that more than 38,200 Palestinians have died and more than 88,000 have been injured due to Israeli bombing and attacks over a nine-month period since October last year. The Health Ministry also added that almost all Palestinians have been driven out of their homes and have become displaced. Hundreds of thousands of refugees are filling the sweltering refugee camp tents.
