[Today’s Prayer] Israel Launches Project to Invite 8,000 Young Christian Leaders

The Israeli government is moving forward with a large-scale project to invite young leaders in order to strengthen relationships with Christian communities around the world. This is not simply a tourism program, but part of a long-term diplomatic strategy to cultivate a generation that has personally experienced Israel amid the changing landscape of public opinion in the digital age.

According to Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministry recently announced plans to invite around 8,000 young leaders and influential figures over the next two years. It is reported that many of the participants will come from Christian communities worldwide.

The Israeli government especially believes that perceptions about Israel formed online can often be fragmented or distorted, and is therefore focusing on giving people firsthand experience in the country. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained, “A direct visit is one of the most effective ways to understand the complex realities of Israeli society.”

According to reports, participants will take part in an intensive 8-day program. During the first 5 days, they will travel throughout the country and experience field-centered tours. This includes cities where Jews and Arabs live together, historical sites, and areas affected by security conflicts. During the final 3 days, briefing sessions and educational programs will be held to help participants understand Israel’s political, social, and cultural structures.

This plan also coincides with the recent sharp increase in visits to Israel by Christians. According to reports, around 300 Christian delegations visited Israel in 2025, representing about a twelvefold increase compared to past averages.

In particular, the fact that visits have increased even amid the ongoing war in Gaza and tensions involving Iran is interpreted as showing that pro-Israel sentiment within the international evangelical community remains strong.

“In that day the remnant of Israel, and the survivors of the house of Jacob, will no more lean on him who struck them, but will lean on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the Mighty God.” (Isaiah 10:20–21)

Father God, we hear the news that the Israeli government has announced a project to invite young Christian leaders from around the world over the next two years.

We believe that this project is not merely a diplomatic strategy to change the world’s fragmented perception of Israel, but part of Your plan to open the doors of this nation and accomplish a new work.

Lord, even as news of tension and death caused by war continues to be heard, You have not allowed the prayers and footsteps of the global Church to cease. Please let even more believers from the worldwide Church go forth into Israel.

Beyond merely seeking solutions for their own lives, raise up faithful churches of the Lord throughout the nations that proclaim the peace of Jerusalem which God desires.

As the global Church stands together in unity, let the spirits of war and death surrounding Israel be broken, and let the remnant of Israel return to the Mighty God.

O Israel, God’s inheritance, return to Yeshua! Rejoice and enjoy peace in the name of Yeshua!
