[Today’s Prayer] Israel Defense: “We Will Intensify Attacks on Iran This Week”

Israel announced on the 21st (local time) that it will intensify its attacks on Iran this week.

According to The Times of Israel, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said during a security assessment meeting with military leadership, “The intensity of the attacks carried out by the Israeli and U.S. forces against the Iranian regime and its infrastructure will increase significantly this week.”

Minister Katz added, “Israel will continue to lead the offensive against the Iranian regime and will carry on operations until all elements that threaten Israel and U.S. interests in the Middle East are eliminated by removing leadership and neutralizing strategic capabilities.”

Heavenly Father, we hear that Israel has announced it will intensify its attacks on Iran this week, and that military offensives will grow even stronger. In this increasingly escalating situation, we come before You seeking Your mercy and sovereign rule.

Lord, please intervene in the hearts of the leaders of Israel and Iran. Grant them wisdom to move not according to human ways that rely on power and military strength, but toward the path that brings life.

Lord, please protect the people of Israel and Iran who are under the threat of war with Your hand. In this time of ongoing attacks and retaliation, may those who are living in fear and anxiety run to You. Restore their broken relationship with Jesus and allow them to experience true peace in You.

In these difficult circumstances, strengthen the churches in Israel and Iran so that they may stand firm in faith even in fear. Also, let the global church continue to pray for the situation in Israel and Iran. Lead them to willingly go and share the love of Christ with those who are suffering and dying because of the war.

As the gospel flows between Iran and Israel, where there has long been division and barriers, let their hostile relationship be made one in the gospel. May they become united through the gospel, proclaim the good news of the kingdom to all nations, and rise as people who prepare the way for the return of Jesus Christ.
