[Today's Prayer] Iran Executes "One of the Most Important Israeli Spies"

Reuters reported on the 29th (local time) that Iran announced the execution of a convicted spy for Israel.

Iranian authorities announced the execution of a man named Bahman Choubi Asl, claiming he was "one of the most important Israeli spies operating in Iran." The Iranian judiciary reported this through its news outlet, Mizan.

Mizan explained that "Mossad's primary goal in obtaining the defendant's cooperation was to obtain government databases and cause security breaches in Iranian data centers," but that there were also "secondary objectives, such as investigating the import routes of electronic devices."

Iran has executed numerous individuals accused of having ties to the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad or assisting its activities in Iran.

In recent months, at least 10 Iranians have been executed after being accused of spying for Israel, a slight increase from the same period last year.

May the ideologies and thinking of those who divide the Iranian people be shattered, and may they be transformed into souls who love and serve the Iranian people according to Your will.

May the Iranian government, responding to espionage, not govern the country with worldly methods of returning evil for evil, but may they look to God, who protects and safeguards the Iranian people in all circumstances.

Lord, who has given us a remarkable revival in the Iranian church, may the Iranian church not be discouraged amidst the nation's difficulties, but seek Your power and serve the Iranians souls.

Therefore may the Iranian people become a people who joyfully sing to You, relying solely on Your power to grant salvation to all who call on the name of Jesus.

Furthermore, may the Iranian people forgive Israel with the love of Jesus and rise up as an FM army that testifies to the gospel of the kingdom with all their lives among all nations!
