A bus carrying Indian pilgrims crashed down a mountainside on a road in Nepal’s mountainous region, leaving 7 people dead and 9 injured. According to AP and other sources on the 15th (local time), a small bus carrying around 10 people slipped and rolled down a mountainside on a mountain road in the Gorkha area of Gandaki Province in central Nepal the previous afternoon.

In the accident, 7 Indian pilgrims died, and 9 others—including the Nepali bus driver and other Indian pilgrims—were injured. The small bus had stopped at the nearby Hindu Manakamana Temple and was traveling when the accident occurred. The bus reportedly slipped while going downhill at a curve and rolled about 150 meters down the mountainside before falling toward a valley.

Local police plan to conduct autopsies to determine the cause of death before handing the bodies over to the bereaved families. In Nepal, which is mostly mountainous terrain, vehicle fall accidents occur frequently because the roads are narrow and there are many sharp curves. On the 23rd of last month, a bus also fell about 300 meters down a mountainside into a river on a mountainous highway near the central Dhading region, leaving 19 dead and 25 injured.

And by the power of the resurrection, bring Nepal and India back to life, so that they may rise as nations that will welcome the Lord’s return on the last day together with all the nations.
