Therefore, I say to you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24)

Father God, I hear the heartbreaking news that 31 people were killed and 170 injured in a suicide bombing and shootout at an Islamic mosque in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

Please comfort the families of the loved ones who lost their lives in the shootout. May the Lord's hand comfort their hearts in their unbearable pain, and may the light of healing shine on those who were injured in the shootout.

Lord, may the justice of the Lord fall on all the terrorist forces who take innocent lives, so that they may repent of their cruel sins. Please break the power of darkness that binds Pakistan and establish the eternal reign of God in the midst of death and fear.

Please awaken the Pakistani church in the midst of difficulties. May the church believe that all prayers have already been answered in heaven and boldly move forward in faith, believing that they have already received what they have asked for. Through this faith, may they reach out to their suffering neighbors to share the love of Jesus Christ, and through the unshakable confidence of the church, may the residents who have lost hope in the face of terror come to see the eternal promise of the kingdom of God.

May the Indian and global churches intercede together for Pakistan. May they pray together, transcending political hostility, for the restoration of this land through the love of Christ. May the global church's fervent prayers break the chains of violence and bring about a history in which all nations are united in the gospel.

May the Pakistani people rise up as a mighty spiritual army, armed with the final weapon of the gospel of the last days, and prepare the way for the Lord's return, taking all nations as their inheritance. May they become a holy army that disciples all nations and prepares the way for the Lord's return.
