[Today’s Prayer] 30 killed in airstrike in central Gaza... Another evacuation order for humanitarian areas

Foreign media such as AP and dpa reported that the Israeli military carried out an airstrike on the 27th (local time) on a school where refugees live in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, killing at least 30 people and injuring more than 100.

The Gaza Strip's Ministry of Health announced this, saying that a temporary medical facility had been set up at a school in the bombed central city of Deir al-Balah.

The Ministry of Health reported that at least 11 people were killed in another airstrike that day.

This morning, the Israeli military ordered residents to evacuate part of the 'humanitarian zone' in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, where refugees are concentrated, saying it was planning an operation against Hamas.

Meanwhile, U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director William Burns, Israel's Mossad Director David Barnea, and Egyptian Director of National Intelligence (GNI) Abbas Kamel will meet in Rome, Italy on the 28th to negotiate the release of hostages and a ceasefire, American Internet media outlet Axios reported.

Israel and Hamas, the warring parties, have been negotiating through a mediation agency over the three-stage ceasefire proposed by U.S. President Joe Biden in May. Negotiations seemed to be picking up speed from the beginning of this month, but they have stalled again as the Israeli side continues to impose additional conditions.

Some believe that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is taking his time because he believes he can negotiate under more favorable conditions if former President Donald Trump is elected.

One Israeli official told Axios: "Netanyahu wants an impossible deal. He has no intention of moving at the moment, so the negotiations could head towards a crisis rather than a settlement."

We see Israel is struggling to eliminate Hamas, but we also see that these airstrikes are taking a toll on the civilian population. We ask for your pity and compassion in all of this.

Lord, we lift up Israel and Palestine in prayer at this time. We ask that you remove every spirit of death working in Israel and Palestine.

Israelis and Palestinians were thrown into fire and water and have been suffering ever till now.

Have mercy on them, for we believe you said that nothing is impossible for those who believes. I ask you to work among Israel and Palestine at this hour.
