There is no greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I will no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master is doing. No, I have made known to you all that I have heard from my Father.

(John 15:13-15 ESV)

Lord, we hear that the death toll from the earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan on the 21st has increased to 21 people.

After the Taliban took power again, Afghanistan, where pain and death have been heard continuously, and Pakistan, where countless people were submerged in floods unprecedented in history, are now struck by an earthquake, and many more people have lost their lives again.

We confess that these two people, who are living agonizing days in unspeakable pain, desperately need our Lord Jesus, who will be their friend and wipe away all their tears.

May the amazing love of Jesus, who willingly gave up his life for Afghanistan and Pakistan and confirmed his greater love than anything else, cover this land fully.

Let all the souls who suffered and thirsted for the truth amidst the news of death that continuously hit this earth rejoice in the love of the cross of the Lord Jesus and receive His name, and now enjoy the wonderful grace of being Your children and Your friends.

During this Ramadan period, please let the true nature of Islam, which has no power or authority, be revealed in detail, and let all those who were like spiritual paralytics meet the Lord of truth and clearly see the fullness of Your glory among all nations.

May Afghanistan and Pakistan rise up as holy nations who obey the word of the Lord who is calling them in the midst of God's history with joy, and give up their lives for the kingdom of God! Amen!
