[Field Story] Syria, who will see the glory of the Lord with the citizenship of heaven

Hello, I am Kasif from Syria.

I was a very stubborn person. After getting to know Jesus Christ, I consistently went out to worship gatherings, but I did not accept Jesus as the savior of my life.

Currently living in Turkey as a refugee, I abandoned my wife and children and tried to smuggle in with only one determination to go to Europe and succeed.

Although I had already experienced many failures and many people around me tried to dissuade me, I never gave up. Then one day, something unbelievable happened to me.

After many struggles, I was finally facing the border of Europe, when suddenly I heard the voice of God. He was telling me not to go to Europe.

The voice was so distinct and made me turn from my path to head back home, and those who were with me tried to hold me back. Then, a few days later, I heard on the news that people who had crossed the European border had died.

I realized that God saved me. Afterwards, as I continued to experience God's guidance in my life, I finally accepted Jesus as my savior.

The love of Jesus Christ, that never gives up until the end, has transformed me. Now, I live as a Christian. Please pray with me so that my life and household can be built into a holy church that praises the Lord.

You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is so wonderful to me; it is high; I cannot attain it (Psalm 139:5-6).

We praise the Lord who met with Brother Kasif, who wandered without knowing Jesus and pursued worldly success.

The Lord blocked the steps of Brother Kasif, who had been placed at the face of death, and surrounded him front and back with protection, and allowed for him to accept Jesus as his Savior.

Now, may the grace that saved Brother Kasif become a testimony and save his family and save the countless Syrian refugees living in Turkey.

Anoint Brother Kasif with the Holy Spirit, that he may become the lips that boldly testify to the gospel of life without hesitation.

Through his proclamation, let the kingdom of God come among those in Turkey who are also wandering like this brother.

Therefore, may this nation become a nation that will no longer live with the status of refugees, but with the citizenship of heaven, and witness the glory of the Lord who will come again.
