[Field Story] Kyrgyzstan, the guarantor of the eternal covenant
(The photo above is not related to the text.)
Hello. I am Haesu who lives in Kyrgyzstan.
I used to be a person with a dark impression and a prickly personality.
I was very interested in Korean culture, so I started learning Korean, and a Korean friend who taught me the language often told me stories about Jesus.
I became very interested in the story of Jesus, so I was invited to a worship service, and I liked the service so much that I even went to the Sunday service. After the Sunday service, my friend preached the gospel to me more deeply, and I confessed that I would believe and accepted Jesus!
After I started believing in Jesus, I often heard people around me say that my face brightened and I became kinder. Jesus is renewing my life!
Before I started believing in Jesus, I always had a lot of stress in my life and I didn’t get along well with my parents, but now I feel at ease whenever I go to church to worship, and my relationships with people have also started to improve!
Now I am attending Dream School and learning about God’s vision!
Please pray with me so that I can live for God’s vision while looking only to the Lord who has renewed my life!
This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant. (Hebrews 7:22)
Lord, thank you for loving Sister Haesu and letting her know Jesus through Korean culture and for allowing her to hear the gospel at a worship service and accept Jesus as her Lord.
How precious is the news that Sister Haesu’s face brightened and became kinder as you touched her life and led her to the truth.
In addition, you have comforted Sister Haesu’s heart and have restored her relationship with her parents and people, and now she is learning God’s vision and we believe that you are leading her as you promised from the beginning.
Please help Sister Haesu realize the heart of God the Father every time she worships and just as you did, let her share the glory of the cross with her parents and local youth.
Please let the Kyrgyz youth who hear Sister Haesu’s testimony have the same heart in the Lord, and may the Lord add more co-workers so that Sister Haesu can grow well in faith until the day when the Lord’s covenant is fulfilled and the Lord comes again.
May your vision be shared with the Kyrgyz youth and may they take specific steps to fulfill God’s vision. Grant them the courage to embrace their people and offer their time as students to the Lord.
Therefore, through Sister Haesu, may the Kyrgyz become a nation that expands the kingdom of God by traveling to the nations as a heavenly cavalry unit that commands and awakens Central Asia!
