Iran has stated that it will “use all tools possible” in response to Israel’s recent retaliatory airstrikes.

According to Reuters and AFP, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said at a press conference on the 28th (local time), “(Iran) will use all tools possible to respond reliably and effectively to the Zionist regime (Israel).”

Baghaei added that Iran’s response will depend on the nature of the Israeli attack.

According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), also warned that Israel would “face bitter and unimaginable consequences” from this attack.

Commander-in-Chief Salami sarcastically said, “Israel’s illegal attack was repelled by the preparations of the Iranian Air Force,” and “it showed Israel’s miscalculation and frustration in the war with fighters in Gaza and Lebanon.”

Meanwhile, Iran reportedly lost at least four soldiers and suffered limited damage to some radar systems in the Israeli airstrikes.
