Hello? I'm Sonam, a Tibetan living in Nepal.

After my parents passed away when I was young, I lived as a child head of household, caring for my two younger siblings. Now I make a living driving a motorcycle taxi. My life has been a continuous series of misfortunes, with nowhere to turn for support, making it incredibly difficult. Amidst this, I've always dreamed of going abroad to earn a lot of money and take responsibility for my family's livelihood.

I missed my homeland and attended a Tibetan dance gathering. There, I met some travelers who greeted me and invited me to join their group.

Feeling lonely, I arrived at the gathering earliest. Though I initially participated with a blank expression and passively, I experienced peace in my heart as I listened to the songs and confessions of my fellow travelers. I became eager to learn more about the Jesus they spoke of and promised to attend the weekly worship meetings.

Please pray that through these weekly worship gatherings, I may come to know Jesus more deeply and live a blessed life sharing the gospel of life with young people like me—those in difficult family situations who, unaware of the truth, remain in loneliness.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:15-17)

Praise the Lord who loved the brother Sonam, allowing them to know Jesus and experience peace through worship while caring for their younger siblings amidst difficult circumstances after leaving their homeland.

May the Lord continually guide them to be brothers who do all things in the name of Jesus with a thankful heart, as He richly fills their lives with His Word and instructs them with wisdom.

Lord, look upon the Tibetan youth who, like Sonam, seek peace yet have left Tibet to eke out a living in unfamiliar Nepal, enduring loneliness. Cover them with Christ's peace and establish them. May communities of faith arise everywhere, like Sonam, to revive both Tibet and Nepal.

May the lives of brother Sonam become a testimony, and may the souls of Tibet be challenged to run toward the vision of Jesus for the nations.

Thus, may the Tibetan people rise as an army of David for Jesus and the gospel, becoming a nation that offers unceasing worship with the nations for the day of the Lord's return!
