[Field Story] Egypt, the nation that will serve the Kingdom of God with joy

Hello, my name is Sama and I am living in Egypt.

I was a Muslim but after I heard the gospel, I turned to Jesus and became a Christian.

Before I started attending the worship services, I would sleep in and wake up too late. I lived a very unmotivated life.

However, as I began to go to the worship gatherings and heard the Word of God and about the vision of God I began to wake up and my life started to change little by little.

I set multiple alarms to wake up early in the morning and I gifted my friends hand written bibles that I wrote.

These days I have been serving the people coming out to our worship gatherings. They shared with me that they are facing financial difficulties and I began to be concerned for them.

And that was because I also am in a situation where I have relied on people before God and do not know what it means to fully rely on God.

However, because I believe that God is someone who provides our every need, I decided to pray for my friend and for God to provide everything that she needs.

Please pray for God to touch my friends life and work in her heart. And please pray that I will trust in God even more than I do now.

Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe... (Hebrew 12:28)

Father God, thank you so much for leading Sama out of her unmotivated life to return to You and become a new creation and now live a life that is preaching the Gospel.

We desire for Sama and her friend to not hesitate before their financial difficulties but experience You who is Father aged who provides for all our needs.

When Sama and her friend depend on You and go before You in prayer, Holy Spirit would you help them and may their faith become stronger and when they seek your Kingdom and righteousness first, may they meet the God who fills their every needs.

May she lay down all her habits of depending on people and her humanly ways and may she risw up as a faithful disciple who will fully depend and trust in You.

May she confess in faith each day that she belongs to heaven and she has received a kingdom that cannot be shaken as an inheritance. And may she break free from every worry and despair in You and rise as one who is strong in Your grace.

Through this, may Sama and her friend be used as a vessel for all of Egypt to come to know the living God and confess that You are Lord and joyfully serve the Kingdom of God.
