[Field Story] Drone strike destroys homes in central Israeli city

The Israeli military announced that one of the two drones launched from Lebanon on the 11th (local time) hit a house in Herzliya, a satellite city near Tel Aviv, the capital of central Israel, but there were no casualties. The Israeli military said that the other drone was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force, which had been tracking it since it invaded Israel.

Israeli Channel 12 TV reported that at the time of the drone attack, air raid alarms sounded in Herzliya, Ramat, Hasharon, and Hod Hasharon, and that residents of the house that was hit were taking refuge in shelters.

The Israeli military previously announced that about 100 rockets and missiles were fired from Lebanon toward northern Israel, 80 of which were fired in just 4 minutes.

The attack occurred just before the Israeli holiday of Yom Kippur. Most shops and government offices in Israel are closed for the holiday, but tensions remain high in Gaza and Lebanon.

God, we hear of drone strikes against Israel from Lebanon.

Please have compassion on the people of Israel, whose homes have been destroyed by the attacks, who have been evacuated from their homes, and who are trembling in fear.

It is the Lord alone who can wash away the dark tears of pain and comfort them. Pour out the hope of Heaven among those who mourn and suffer for the loss of their homes, that they may see Your face.

Where Israel sought You only formally by following the Law on the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, may they now lift up their eyes and look to Yeshua, who will save the nation of Israel!

Lebanon also desires to come before You. We desire for the brothers and sisters of faith, that You have chosen in Lebanon, to pray wholeheartedly to You. May they worship and pray to You more in the midst of this evil situation where people are hating and attacking each other.

We declare that it is in times of war, in their darkest hour, that two nations come before your grace. God, may we seek your face in the midst of our suffering, and may you add to their favor as they come before you.

Lord, King of all nations, may the nations of Israel and Lebanon praise and proclaim the name of Yeshua alone!
