[Field Story] Bring the light of salvation, Pakistan!

Hi I'm Iman from Pakistan.

I have a husband, two children and grandchildren, but my husband suffered a severe illness and went to heaven after a year of illness.

During my husband's illness, we were blessed to have believers in Jesus, praying for us and serving us, and we were blessed to accept the Lord and fellowship in the Word.

I had no faith in Jesus, but during my husband's illness, I began to have visions and hear voices. God came to me and said, “Arise, the light has come,” and since then I have had faith in a God who is always with me and wants me to come to Him.

Recently, my second son has been struggling with a drug addiction that has left him severely disfigured and unable to work. My daughter-in-law ran away once and came back, so I'm worried she'll run away again, my grandchildren have frequent illnesses and I'm worried about them, and I'm behind on my gas bill for three months. But I'm overcoming my anxiety in prayer, seeking God's power to overcome all things.

I want to be a disciple of the Lord who casts out all anxiety and prays in the Word. I want to be filled with the food of the Spirit rather than the food of the flesh. Please pray that all the difficulties at home will be solved with the Lord's help and that everyone will look to the Lord.

Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists. (Acts 12:7)

We praise you, God of light, for bringing salvation to all the nations even today

Iman's husband suffered from a serious illness, but through Jesus' children, he accepted the Lord and went to heaven.

We confess that it is by the grace of God alone that Iman was given light and faith in the Lord during her husband's illness.

Her second son is addicted to drugs and there are many other difficult situations at home, but as Iman relies on God, her son comes to the Lord, and I believe that through this family, many families in Pakistan will come to the Lord.

As you shone in the dungeon and removed Peter's chains from his hands, so shine as your light on Pakistan and let every principalities and powers of darkness depart.

May Iman's family grow in faith and witness to the gospel, and through them, may you bring salvation to Pakistan!
