[Field Story] Azerbaijan, the nation that will see the joy of heaven

Hello, my name is Sevinch and I am living in Azerbaijan.

I was a Muslim however my heart grew to meet God and so I took interest in many religions.

I heard about Jesus too however I wasn't sure if it was truth 100% so I could not commit as a Christian.

I watched the Jesus movie and compared it with many other religions and made effort to find the truth. During this time I started to read the book of John and Matthew with a believing friend.

One day while reading Matthew, I met Jesus in my dream.

In my dream I asked Jesus everything that I was wondering and Jesus answered every question and that day I decided to accept Jesus as my Savior and master. Hallelujah!

Now I want my faith to grow and share the gospel with my mom and sister.

No matter what difficulties may come, I want to rise up as a disciple of the Lord that will plant churches.

Please pray with me that I can walk on this path of faith until the end!

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate. (Luke 15:24)

God of love, thank you for sending Sevinch, who was thirsting for love, Christian friends and answering all of her questions.

Thank you for your grace and fulfilling salvation in her so that she can accept Jesus in joy.

Now may she take that grace and become an evangelist. When she preaches the gospel to her family and people around her, Holy Spirit would you be with her that the gospel be planted in every one who hears.

Furthermore, no matter hardships she may face may her love and confession for you never change. And may she plant your church that the gates of hades may never prevail over.

May all the people of Azerbaijan that seem like are dying away, now come alive in Christ, receive new life and partake together in the celebration of heaven. May they rise up as a holy nation.
