A U.S. delegation arrived in Islamabad, the capital of mediator country Pakistan, on the 11th (local time) for ceasefire negotiations with Iran, according to Reuters.
According to Pakistani sources, a U.S. government aircraft carrying senior American officials who will participate in negotiations with Iran landed in Islamabad that day.

With both delegations arriving at the location, talks are expected to begin soon.
It is still unclear whether the two sides will hold face-to-face negotiations. AFP previously reported that the meeting is expected to proceed as indirect talks, with U.S. and Iranian delegations seated in separate rooms while Pakistani officials shuttle between them to exchange proposals.
This follows the same method previously used by Oman when mediating nuclear negotiations between the two countries. However, significant difficulties are also expected before talks officially begin.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated on the 10th that a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of frozen Iranian assets must come first before negotiations with the United States.

“O Lord, my rock and my redeemer, may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight.” (Psalm 19:14)
Heavenly Father,We hear the news that the United States and Iran have gathered in Islamabad, Pakistan, for negotiations to end the war. As we see efforts to find a path to resolution through dialogue after prolonged conflict, we pray that Your sovereignty and guidance would be over this entire process.
Lord, although the delegations of both countries have gathered, the talks are expected to proceed indirectly rather than face-to-face, and tensions remain as both sides present their conditions even before negotiations begin. In conflicts that cannot easily be resolved by human means, may the words and hearts of all leaders be acceptable in Your sight, and may every decision be made according to Your will.
Let the leaders of each nation move forward not with hardness, but with humility, and let a genuine desire to stop the war flow among them. Beyond visible conditions and negotiations, open the way to true peace.
Lord, we believe that true peace comes only through Jesus Christ. Let the war cease in the lands of Iran and Israel, let hatred disappear, and let reconciliation and unity take place through the gospel. For this purpose, we also pray that the church in Pakistan, as the mediating nation, and the global church would seek Your guidance toward the best path, and go forward carrying the gospel into Iran and Israel.
May the power of the gospel sanctify the peoples of Iran and Israel, so that they may rise as disciples who carry the cross of Jesus Christ to all nations, preparing the way for the Lord’s return.
