[Field News] Türkiye, who will do the works of the Lord

Hello, I am Begüm living in Türkiye.

Last year, I attended an Easter service invited by my friends. At that time, I had no change nor feeling, but this year, as I attended the Easter service again, I received heart to find the truth. I have since attended Sunday services and weekday gatherings.

As my parents divorced when I was young, I lived with my father. I read the Qur’an every day but I couldn’t find the truth and lived like an atheist.

When I attended Sunday service, I read the bible and as I continued to read the bible, I started to believe that Jesus isn’t some human like me but rather a greater God.

As I read the bible, I felt the love of God deep in my heart and it was the first time that there was this kind of love filled in my heart. When I shared this grace during Sunday service, my coworkers who believed in Jesus rejoiced with me and I prayed the acceptance prayer!

I am so thankful and joyful that the emptiness in my heart got filled with the love of God when nothing else could fill my heart! I desire to live as a Christian who will resemble Jesus as I continue to only believe in Jesus who is great and the truth!

I believe that as God loves me and is with me, I will be able to overcome any persecution and fear. Please pray with me that I will love the Lord daily and be able to rise as a person of faith who will share the love of Jesus Christ!

Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples. Psalm 77:13-14

God, You do big and wonderful things and we praise You for meeting Sister Begüm through the Word and that You have filled the void in her heart with Your love.

We confess that nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation can separate Sister Begüm from the love of Jesus Christ.

May Sister Begüm get to know the Lord more through church services and the Word and may she grow and mature to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

And so may she boldly share the Gospel to those who are like her past self— those who are empty seeking for the truth.

Whatever persecution or hardship comes, would You cover her with the great and wonderful love of God. And so may Türkiye rise as the natio
