[Field News] “American soldiers killed in rocket attack on U.S. military base in eastern Syria”

The Russian state-run Sputnik news agency reported on the 13th (local time), citing the Lebanese news channel 'Al Mayadeen', that a US military base in Syria was attacked by a rocket and US soldiers were killed.

Al Mayadeen reported the death of Americans, saying that the Conoco U.S. military base in the Al Omar oil field in eastern Syria was hit by 15 rockets.

As the United States views cases of its citizens dying due to attacks by external forces as a serious issue and has responded strongly, if the current situation is true, the repercussions are attracting attention.

At this time, it is not known who the exact body responsible for the attack was.

However, the U.S. Department of Defense announced in a statement the day before, "We conducted a precision airstrike against a base in eastern Syria that is being used by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iranian-linked forces."

The Pentagon said the airstrikes were in response to ongoing attacks against U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria, specifically targeting training facilities and hideouts near the cities of Abu Kamal and Mayadeen.

The United States has dispatched troops to Iraq and Syria to combat the extremist militant group Islamic State (IS).

The war to defeat IS has virtually ended, but the United States continues to station a small number of troops under the pretext of eliminating the remnants of the group and supporting local allies.

Since the war between Israel and the Palestinian armed faction Hamas broke out on the 7th of last month, attacks on US military bases by pro-Iranian militants in Syria and Iraq have become frequent.

“My eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for enlightenment to the Gentiles and the glory of your people Israel” (Luke 2:30-32)

We praise our Lord, Jesus Christ, who is the light of salvation for all nations.

Lord, we lift up the Syrian people and pray for you at this time. We heard that US troops in Syria were attacked by unidentified rockets.

The anger caused by the conflict between Isaac and Ishmael is now spreading beyond Israel and Palestine to neighboring Arab countries and the United States. Lord, please have mercy on this generation.

Please rebuke all of Satan’s lies and malice that cause us to hate each other and take our lives. May wars and strife end quickly, and may further disputes end.

We pray that the light of salvation prepared by the Lord will shine among all nations. In particular, please work as a light in the land of Syria, where suffering continues due to the civil war.

We pray that the news of salvation through Christ will spread faster than the cruelty and suffering of the endlessly spreading war. Lord, please lift the eyes of the Syrian people and help them see the work of salvation.

Please shine on the Syrian people with the eternal light that has overcome all the powers of darkness and death, so that all the wounded and suffering souls of Syria can enjoy the grace of salvation that you have prepared for them and receive eternal life with joy.

Save all nations, and let the glory of the victorious Christ be praised highly in Syria and among all nations!
