[2023 RAMADAN DAY 22] FOR THE GREAT HARVEST OF ARABS AND CRUSHING THE ENEMY, EGYPT & SUDAN!

<EGYPT>

Egypt is one of the birthplaces of the world's four major ancient civilizations and is a land full of world-famous cultural heritages such as the pyramids and the Sphinx. Interestingly, Egyptians in the Bible are stubborn people who bullied and intimidated the Israelites. They opposed God all the way through the 10 plagues.

In the 1920s, the Muslim Brotherhood started in Egypt. As it criticized Western civilizations, they called for a return to the roots of Islam. Becoming the roots of the Taliban and ISIS, they transformed into fundamentalist Islamic militants. Just like this, Egypt still exerts great religious influence on other Arab countries. God allowed the prophecies of Isaiah 19 upon Egypt. As the word of promise, God will bless them on the earth along with Syria and Iraq.

“In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. (Isaiah 19:23)”

Just like God said in Isaiah 19, Egypt has collapsed in all areas such as the economy, society, and politics, and the nation’s rulers and politicians are not doing their job (Isaiah 19:1-17). At the same time, God is restoring Egypt and rapidly fulfilling his prophecies that the last remaining Arab/Middle East region and Israel will return to the Lord through this people.

Especially when 21 Egyptians Coptic Christians were kidnapped and beheaded by ISIS in Libya in 2015, the Egyptian church declared them as martyrs and decided that the Egyptian church would follow the path of martyrdom, and rather, confessed to forgive ISIS. God has not forgotten the blood of these 21 martyrs, and waking up countless young Egyptian people with the fruit of this martyrdom.

The Christians in Egypt are not decreasing in number despite the current COVID-19 pandemic and the growing opposition around them. They are continuing to devote themselves to preaching the gospel. They know that preaching the gospel will lead to numerous disadvantages and hardships from Muslims, but they are not stopping witnessing the gospel and committed to live to preach the gospel to other people in the nations. Hallelujah! Not only will 90 million Muslims of this land return to the Lord through this nation, but all nations will return to the Lord. Until we see the fulfillment of the prophecies, this gospel movement will continue without stopping.

<SUDAN>

Woe to the land of whirring wings along the rivers of Cush (Isa 18:1)

Sudan is the nation located in an area called Cush in the Bible. It was a powerful Christian kingdom in the 6th century, but it became Islamic as it was conquered by the Arabs in the 16th century. Christianity began to collapse during the Islamic occupation of this land, and the Sudanese Church was placed under tremendous persecution. Christians were imprisoned as a mere fact that they are Christians and had to risk their lives to protect the church. So now there are fewer than 3% of Christians left in Sudan out of the 40 million population.

In 2017, all missionaries and relief organizations were deported who helped Sudan in the current situation. However, contrary to worries that the situation will likely worsen, Sudanese people protested in April 2018 and the Islamic-fundamental dictatorship that dominated the country for nearly 30 years collapsed. About two years later, in July 2020, the Sudanese interim government abolished the death penalty for converts. In March 2021, the Sudanese government signed a declaration to separate the state and religion. However, in October 2021, the military suddenly tried to take power by staging a coup, and citizens are continuing to oppose it until today. This protest to protect the country will continue during Ramadan.

At that time gifts will be brought to the Lord Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers— the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the Lord Almighty. (Isa 18:7)

Although they are in a chaotic political turmoil, Sudan will be more trained as “people feared far and wide” and rise as the nation preparing the way of His return.

God has been raising the Sudanese church since 2021 and giving salvation to the poor. None other than our Jehovah God has called these people as a strong army to tread on their enemies. During this Ramadan period, may they break through 400 years of darkness and rise to advance for Jesus and the gospel with the remnant spirit! May the challenge and awaken the Arabs who are of the martyrdom spirit!

[Today’s Prayer]

1. Lord, have mercy upon Sudan who is living hopelessly with scars and hurt from a long civil war and protests. May You raise your hand and bless this nation. Would Your gospel comfort the spirit of the Sudanese souls and give them eternal water of life. May they live only by faith and not rely on the world and their situation.

2. We proclaim that Sudan is the land of revival. We believe that You are opening the doors of heaven upon us. May you use the Sudanese people as a people feared far and wide as the Isaiah 18 prophecies and march to Jerusalem with the gospel. For the fulfillment of the prophesies, may they run together with Egypt.

3. In the season of Ramadan, may the fire of prayers and evangelism never stop among the Egyptian church but burn even more passionately. May we continue to pray and preach the gospel for the 90 million Muslims in this nation and see the holy revival of them returning before the Lord.

4. May the Egyptian Christians and convert rise as the ones to save the nations. May they rise as the ones with spiritual leadership to influence beyond Egypt and serve and administer to the 22 Arab nations. May you fulfill your prophecies of all nations worshipping you through Egypt.
