Hello! I am Jorma, and I am a Tibetan living in China.
I have a daughter who is seriously ill from a heart condition. I have a lot of debt because of her medical bills, and she needs a heart transplant.
Because I was a follower of Rama Buddhism, I thought the sins from my previous life were causing all the hardships in this life; I had to get rid of my sins, so my next life will be happier. So, I had walked around the temple from 6 AM to 7 PM and told my daughter to do “full bowing” to get rid of her sins.
It was very difficult, but it was the only way of life I knew. Then I met a young Christian man. He told me about Jesus, who loves us and can save us from sin we cannot bear. Jesus was the good news to me, who was struggling by the weight of sins.
I accepted Jesus as my savior on the spot. Afterward, I could feel that the Holy Spirit’s presence with me, and my heart was filled with peace and joy that were absent due to my difficult circumstances. Praise the Lord who set me free from the thick binding of sin. He came to me who could not handle my sins and became my light. Please pray that Jesus can become the true light to all Tibetans, just as I came to believe in Jesus Christ and was set free!
Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand. (2 Corinthians 1:24)
Praise the Lord who loves Jorma and faithfully guides her life.
She lived in darkness and did not know the truth, so she tried to earn forgiveness through her deeds. Your grace and love enabled her to walk on a glorious path.
May our God, who invited sister Jorma to eternal life, continuously strengthen her faith so she can rise up and lead the dying souls to God in the name of Jesus Christ.
May all, who hear the gospel from her, come into eternal life. May the souls in Tibet be saved by their faith in Jesus Christ, just as Jorma was set free from all her sins.
May all Tibetans witness the name of our savior Jesus Christ and be a blessing to all nations, to those who are suffering because they do not know the Lord.
