Hello. I am Sabara. I’m from Uzbekistan. I have one younger sister who has been going to church at the invitation of her classmate.
Because my background is Muslim, initially, I was furious at my younger sister for persistently go to church. But she told me that she really likes going to church, so I attended her church service out of curiosity.
I was scared to step inside the church, because I was not sure if it was OK for me to go in as a Muslim, and if something terrible might happen to me. But my first church experience was not threatening; it was rather gentle and warm.
During the service, I heard the story of the Samaritan woman in the Bible. I saw how Jesus loves everyone, even if they were a sinner, poor, and weak. I was amazed and grateful for His love, so I decided to believe in Jesus.
That same night, Jesus came to me in a dream, and I knew he was alive.
I do not give my sister a hard time anymore. I am so thankful to Jesus for meeting me, just like he met the Samaritan woman in the story I heard that day.
“But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop of a hundredfold.” When He had said these things, He cried, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
Praise the Lord, who came and saved Brother Sabara and his sister according to His mercy in the land of Uzbekistan, which has a 0.02% Christian population.
We proclaim that Uzbekistan is good ground that yields the hundredfold crop. The Uzbek people will surely rise with a hundredfold revival!
Lord, may we see your Gospel flourish in this land of Uzbekistan, so that the seeds of your Word sown in this land will spring up and yield a crop of a hundredfold, covering all nations!
Lord, please anoint the Uzbek church, so that they may be victorious, not kneeling before the authority of the world!
The Uzbek church will rise to complete the kingdom of God among all nations with a hundredfold revival coming from a hundredfold commitment! Amen!
