[Today's Prayer] The slaughter continues even on Christmas Eve...70 killed in airstrike on refugee camp in Gaza

At least 70 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, on the night of Christmas Eve, the 24th (local time), reported by AP and AFP.  

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, houses in the al-Magazi refugee camp in central Gaza were destroyed by an Israeli airstrike that day.

Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said the death toll could rise as the strike targeted a residential area and many families lived there.

The Associated Press reported that immediately after the airstrike on this day, Palestinian residents were frantically moving bodies and injured people, including children, from a hospital near Al Magazi Camp.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video statement, released today, that the Israeli military is "increasing the intensity of the war in Gaza.”

Regarding Israeli military casualties, he emphasized, "War comes at a heavy cost, including the lives of our heroic soldiers," and added, "But we will not stop until victory is achieved."

Lord, we hear the news that Palestinian refugee camp has been attacked by Israeli airstrike, killing 70 people, the night before Christmas. Would you have compassion on those who cannot rejoice and remember the birth of Jesus, who saved all mankind.

Let the strategies of those who increase the intensity of the war be stopped, and let the joy and hope of the Lord be overflowing in this land where baby Jesus was born.

Holy Spirit, would your presence protect the heart and thoughts of Palestinian refugees with the power of Christ who broke death, and allows them to fulfill your world with bold faith.

So allow the nation of Palestinian to relies solely on the Lord in all darkness and hardship, and let the nation proclaims the kingdom of God until the Lord comes!
