The Iranian government announced on the 21st (local time) that the anti-government protests that had been going on for about four weeks have been successfully ended through a tough crackdown.
According to Mizan News Agency, an affiliate of the Iranian judiciary, Mohammad Movahedi, the Iranian Prosecutor General, said on that day, "The instigators will be tried and punished in accordance with all legal procedures," and added that they will be charged with "waging war against God," a crime that could result in the death penalty if convicted.

According to videos and eyewitness accounts released at the height of the protests, the government carried out the most brutal crackdown in decades.
Eyewitnesses reported that government forces used what are believed to be automatic rifles to indiscriminately fire at unarmed protesters. Human rights groups also reported that thousands of people were detained.
Iranian state TV reported for the first time on that day that a total of 3,117 people have died in the anti-government protests. This is lower than the 4,519 deaths reported by Human Rights Watch the day before (20th).

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs that look beautiful on the outside but are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. (Matthew 23:27)
We hear the news that the anti-government protests that have been going on in Iran for about four weeks have ended with numerous casualties and a tough crackdown by the government.
The government says that 3,100 Iranians have died, but looking at the number of 4,000 more reported by Human Rights Watch the day before, we can see how the hopes and dreams of the Iranian souls who were shouting for freedom have been brutally trampled on.
We hope that the Lord will have mercy on the people who have been labeled as "waging war against God" and could face the death penalty, and that those who cling to Jesus, our only savior, will not be afraid of any fear and will be able to meet the Lord in their suffering.
In front of the state that is promoting the complete suppression of the domestic unrest, it seems that the Iranian people are living in pain, ignored by the government. We hope that the Lord will touch their wounded hearts and help them with the Holy Spirit, so that they can meet the Lord in their suffering and realize true freedom and joy.
May the revival fire that once lit up the Iranian church continue to burn, and may the news of Iranian souls who are longing for salvation accepting Jesus Christ spread. May the spirituality of the Iranian church, which was not afraid of death, lead to a revival that revives Iran and all nations!
