[Today’s Prayer] Sudan’s civil war continues for 11 months… UN WFP warns of "world's largest hunger crisis"
As civil war continues in Sudan for 11 months, the World Food Program (WFP) has warned of the possibility of the world's largest hunger crisis.
According to AFP, WFP Director-General Cindy McCain said on the 5th (local time) that the civil war in Sudan "endangers the lives of millions of people and the peace and stability of the entire region."

He said 90% of people in Sudan are currently facing critical levels of hunger and only 5% of the population can afford one meal a day. However, Secretary-General McCain appealed that the WEF has no way to approach them.
Meanwhile, the civil war in Sudan has killed more than 10,000 people since it began in April last year. As the struggle for power between the regular army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continues, bloodshed continues.
Across Sudan, 18 million people reportedly face severe food insecurity. Of these, 5 million people are suffering from ‘catastrophic’ levels of hunger, close to famine.

And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once.” Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom… This will be your opportunity to bear witness. (Luke 21:9-10,13)
God, the Father of all nations, we hear the heartbreaking news that countless people in Sudan are suffering because they have nothing to eat due to the civil war taking place in Sudan.
However, as we see the end times approaching, when the nations are suffering from war, famine, wars, and rumors as the Lord prophesied, this incident serves as evidence, and many people want to return to Jesus.
Lord, please have mercy on Sudan, where countless people have lost their lives due to the civil war and are starving due to lack of food, so that the civil war can end quickly and that the comfort and gospel of Jesus can be evidenced among the Sudanese people who have become poorer than anyone else.
In these end times, may the prophecy of the Lord serve as evidence so that the Sudanese people believe in the word of the Lord, and may the Korean and world churches with God's heart rise up and pray more and more for all nations!
