[Today's Prayer] Israeli Forces Complete Partial Withdrawal, Declaring Ceasefire at Noon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that a ceasefire agreement with Hamas took effect at noon on the 10th.

This ceasefire marks the first and most crucial step of the “Gaza Peace Plan” led by U.S. President Donald Trump, under which Israel will halt all combat operations in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier that day, the IDF completed a partial withdrawal — part of the first-phase agreement — as the ceasefire took effect.

The first phase agreement was signed by Israel and the Gaza militant group Hamas in Egypt at noon on the 9th (local time), and was approved by the Israeli cabinet after extensive discussions. Its core elements include the partial withdrawal of Israeli forces and the exchange of hostages and prisoners.

The Israeli Cabinet approved the agreement at 2:00 a.m., and the Israeli military's retreat from Gaza City was observed hours later. However, several Palestinians were still killed or injured by Israeli attacks until the morning of the 10th.

According to the agreement, Israel completed its partial pullback — retaining control over only 53% of the Gaza Strip — and declared a full cessation of hostilities.

This means that Hamas must release all remaining hostages, including 20 survivors and 28 bodies, within three days, or 72 hours, from the date of the agreement's implementation. In exchange for the hostage release, Israel will also release 250 prisoners serving life sentences and 1,700 Gaza civilians.

Just before the truce, many lives were lost or wounded, and countless souls suffered in fear and pain.

But we believe, O God, that You have seen and heard every cry and every groan.

Now we pray that the wars and conflicts between Israel and Palestine would completely cease and that the love of Jesus would bring full restoration.

Let this war, which leaves only wounds, be brought to an end. By the cross of Jesus, may they forgive one another, kneel before the living Christ, and become people that fear and worship Him alone.

We believe that only Jesus can heal the pain of these people. Comfort those who mourn, Lord, and move the global Church to pray so that those in pain and suffering may be healed by the gospel and encounter Yeshua.

We believe that when the Israeli and Palestinian churches and the global church pray and serve together, You will wipe away their tears, and Jesus will heal the deep pain of these people.

Let the sound of salvation and joy replace the cries of suffering from Israel and Palestine!

May Israel and Palestine end their long years of pain and conflict and be restored by the cross of Jesus!

May they kneel before the Lord their Maker and worship God alone!

May they rise as nations that bring healing to all peoples and proclaim the message of the cross!
