[Today's Prayer] Israeli Defense: "No Ceasefire in Lebanon, Hezbollah Continues to Attack"

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on the 13th (local time), "There will be no ceasefire in Lebanon, and we will not take our foot off the accelerator."

According to the Times of Israel and other sources, Minister Katz said this during a visit to the Northern Command with Israeli Army Chief of Staff General Herzi Halevi, saying, "We will not accept any agreement that does not include the achievement of war objectives."

This is the first time that Secretary Katz has visited the Northern Command, which is in charge of Operation Arrow of the North, targeting the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

He said Israel's right to respond to terrorist attacks on its own must be guaranteed.

He also stressed that "Beirut's terror infrastructure is collapsing, and we will continue to attack Hezbollah wherever it is."

Please turn the hard hearts of Israel and Lebanon, which seek to return evil for evil against each other at any cost, and make them realize the great love of God, who waits and has compassion on Israel and the Arab nations, forgiving them to the end.

We confess that there is only one God, Jesus Christ, who can heal all wounds and unite Israel and Lebanon. Grant that the love of Jesus, who forgave Judas Iscariot for selling Him for money and even those who reviled Him on the cross, may be extended to the peoples of Lebanon and Israel.

Allow the churches of Lebanon and Israel the courage and grace to forgive one another and to unite in the Lord, and as the church forgives, may the news of the grace of forgiveness between the two nations never cease.

May the nations of Lebanon and Israel rise up as those who first know the perfect love of Jesus, so that they may be a witnesses to those nations who are enemies and still at war with each other!
