[Today’s Prayer] Israel prepares to move Gaza residents south in large numbers as Hamas offensive tightens

Israel, ahead of a military operation to seize control of Gaza City, a densely populated area in the northern Gaza Strip, is preparing to move a large number of Gaza residents to the south, AP and Reuters reported on the 16th (local time).

The Israeli military agency that coordinates aid deliveries, COGAT, said distributions of tents and other supplies to Gazans would resume on Monday to ensure their safety before they move south from the fighting zone.

Malnutrition is also a serious problem. The UN has warned that the current level of hunger and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip is at its worst since the outbreak of the war.

The Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip's health ministry said 11 more people had died from malnutrition in the past 24 hours, including one child.

According to the Gaza Strip's Ministry of Health, 251 people have died from malnutrition since the outbreak of the Gaza war.

We pray that You, our King, will reign over the people of the Gaza Strip.

May the residents of the Gaza Strip cease lamenting over earthly things and lift their heads to look to the Lord, who provides eternal sustenance. May the Israeli hostages be swiftly released from Hamas and return to their families, and may Hamas cease its unreasonable demands regarding the hostages so that no more innocent blood is shed.

Lord, King of Israel and Palestine. In light of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, may the churches of Israel and Palestine come before You on their knees.

Confessing that all wars belong to the Lord of Hosts, may the Church repent for relying on human plans and national power, and may the Lord Himself rule over Israel and Palestine, so that the peace of the Lord may finally come upon Israel and Palestine through the Church.

May Israel and Palestine become nations filled with the last disciples who will witness the final revival following Jesus, the King of all nations, and may all nations worship the glorious name of Jesus through Israel and Palestine!
