[Today’s Prayer] Israel Launches Another Airstrike on Southern Lebanon… 2 Dead

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that on the 24th (local time), Israel carried out another airstrike on southern Lebanon, resulting in two deaths.

According to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA), a vehicle traveling on a road near the village of Toul, close to Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, was struck by an Israeli drone-guided missile, killing the driver.

In a statement, the Israeli military said that the deceased was Abbas Hassan Karki, a logistics supply commander for Hezbollah’s southern front, and declared that they had targeted and eliminated him.

Later, the Ministry of Health reported that another Israeli strike targeting a vehicle near Nabatieh killed one person and injured another. The Israeli military explained that this airstrike also targeted a Hezbollah-affiliated terrorist.

Lord, we see that due to the armed conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, Lebanese society is sinking deeper into unrest and division. Restore the leadership of the Lebanese government so that Hezbollah’s violent influence may weaken, and let Your justice and peace be established in both Israel and Lebanon.

Also, Lord, strengthen the churches in Lebanon and Israel so that they may remember the covenant they have with You. Let them boldly proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom with steadfast faith, and as both churches pray and intercede for each other’s nations in love, may true shalom come upon Lebanon and Israel.
