[Today's Prayer] Israel "Hamas' latest ceasefire proposal is feasible... under review"

ree

An Israeli official who requested anonymity regarding Hamas' latest ceasefire proposal said, "It is feasible. Israel is reviewing it," without revealing specific details.

Hamas confirmed in a statement early on the 24th (local time) that it had sent a new ceasefire proposal to mediators.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also confirmed Hamas' new ceasefire proposal.

This comes as U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is scheduled to visit Europe, where he will meet with key Middle Eastern leaders to discuss the latest ceasefire proposal and the release of hostages.

More than 100 charities and human rights groups had sounded the alarm the day before that the Israeli blockade and ongoing military offensive were driving Palestinians in the Gaza Strip into starvation.

Experts warn that the Gaza Strip is at risk of famine due to the Israeli blockade and the Israeli offensive that began with Hamas’ surprise attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 59,000 Palestinians have died in the war in Gaza so far, more than half of them women and children.

Looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, "Ephphatha," which means, "Be opened." Immediately his ears were opened, his tongue was freed from its binding, and he spoke clearly (Mark 7:34-35)

In the ceasefire situation where there has been no progress for two years since the Hamas-Ishmael war that began in October 2023, we hear the good news that Israel is positively reviewing Hamas' recent proposal for a new ceasefire.

In the situation where Israeli hostages are still being held by Hamas and the starvation problem of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip needs to be resolved, we pray that the Lord of peace will prosper and lead to the spread of the gospel.

May the areas where communication between Israel and Palestine has been blocked be opened and the knots be resolved, and may the Israeli and Palestinian churches continue to pray in the name of Jesus, crying out Ephphatha.

May the Israeli and Palestinian churches first forgive, reconcile, and unite, so that they may become one in Jesus, and may you grant them the power to lead the leaders of the nation in the direction that the Word suggests.

May the global church help this work through prayer, and may the Holy Spirit lead Israel and Palestine at every moment, and may they strive to fill the souls of Palestinians who are at the door of death from starvation with abundance to fill the flesh and spirit.

In this way, may true peace come to Israel and Palestine, may a ceasefire be decided quickly, and may the last disciples who will bring about the final revival rise up toward the nations, and may the gospel spur them!
