[Today’s Prayer] Iran Launches Immediate Retaliatory Airstrikes on Israel (Comprehensive)

On the 28th (local time), Iran condemned the attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Iran as an act of aggression in violation of international law, and in response, launched airstrikes against Israel and the U.S.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated in a statement released that day that it had carried out its first wave of attacks, launching missiles and drones at Israel in response to the attack on Iran.

The Revolutionary Guard also confirmed that Israel had conducted airstrikes against Iranian military and government building facilities.

Furthermore, they stated that in retaliation for the U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran, they had launched missiles at U.S. military bases stationed in the Gulf region, including Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Heavenly Father, we hear the news that Iran has launched missiles at Israel and U.S. military bases in the Middle East in retaliation for the attacks on Iran and Israel.

Lord, please visit the souls in Iran, Israel, and the Middle East who must be trembling in fear due to these airstrikes. May Jesus, who is our true peace, become their Comforter, and pour out a peace that the world cannot give into the hearts of those in Iran, Israel, and the Middle East. Please cover the souls facing the threat of these airstrikes with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Protect them under Your wings so that the destroyer cannot strike them, and ensure that no loss of life occurs.

Lord, please intervene in Iran and Israel, where news of war never ceases. May the spirits of anger and retaliation depart from the leaders of each nation, so that this vicious cycle of retaliation may come to an end.

In the midst of these airstrikes, may the churches in Iran and Israel stay awake and draw closer to You in prayer, and may they reach out to their neighbors who are trembling in fear to share the love and word of Jesus. When the Gospel is proclaimed, may souls respond, and grant them the grace to come to Jesus Christ, who is their Savior.

We desire for the global church to also join their hearts in prayer. Help us to pray with tears for Iran and Israel and to go forth with all our lives to spread the Gospel. May missiles of prayer and the Gospel be poured out toward Iran and Israel.

By doing so, may Iran and Israel become nations that praise and exalt only Jesus Christ! May they become holy nations of priests who follow only the Lord with all their lives and spread the Gospel of the Kingdom to all nations!
