[Today's Prayer] Hamas: "We Accept the Deployment of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza... But No Interference in Internal Affairs"

The Palestinian militant group Hamas has stated that it is willing to accept the deployment of the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in the Gaza Strip, but insisted that there should be no interference in its internal affairs.

On the 13th (local time), Basem Naim, a member of Hamas's Political Bureau, said in an interview with the American news magazine Newsweek, "We do not oppose the arrival of the ISF in Gaza." He added, "The ISF should only play a buffer role between the two sides, but not interfere in Palestine's internal affairs, including civil, security, and political matters."

Naim emphasized that the ISF is not a matter for Hamas to decide, and its role is to separate the parties (Israeli forces and Hamas) and oversee the implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza, preventing the resumption of war, and not interfering in all aspects of Palestine's internal affairs, including politics and security.

The ISF is a security plan for Gaza proposed by US President Donald Trump in accordance with his peace initiative, which aimed to end the Gaza conflict in October last year. The ISF is responsible for overseeing the withdrawal of Israeli forces and Hamas from Gaza and the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip in the second phase of the ceasefire.

It is written that all that God has prepared for those who love Him cannot be seen with the eyes, heard with the ears, or understood with the mind. Only the Holy Spirit has revealed these things to us, for the Holy Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).

Father God, we have heard that the Palestinian militant group Hamas has stated that it is willing to accept the deployment of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza, but insisted that no interference in internal affairs, including civil and security matters, is acceptable. At a time when the military operations of Israel continue in the Gaza Strip despite the absence of disarmament, we seek the guidance of the Lord.

Lord, we confess that You alone are the King of Peace. We pray for the souls in Gaza, who are caught in conflict and fear. We believe that the grace of God will descend on Gaza, and the time of peace will come to their hearts.

Lord, we use the time of peace to spread the gospel. We believe that unexpected grace will come to Gaza. When the Palestinian and Israeli churches, as well as the global church, bring relief supplies and the words of life to the suffering souls in Gaza, we pray that the Holy Spirit will intervene and lead them to Jesus, the Savior.

Lord, may You do the work of the Kingdom of God even in times of adversity. May the holy people of Palestine and Israel, who live for Jesus and the gospel, rise up and prepare the way for the return of Jesus Christ. May we unite to prepare the way for His return.
